The American Superhero Association (also known as the Association of American Superheroes, or ASA for short) is an organization that promotes, sponsors, and represents freelance superheroes in the US. As the United States is one of the only nations whose super-heroes are not government-sponsored, the ASA steps in as a private organization to serve the same purpose.
